The work begins with three questions:
What does it mean to carry, nourish, and sustain life? Can something that gives life also become a form of confinement? What happens when we begin to question the source of life?
The images evoke the vastness of the cosmos and the mystery of creation, while the body remains close, intimate, and profoundly human.
The photographs move between intimacy and distance. The body is partially concealed, making it difficult to identify or locate, allowing the figure to exist beyond a specific person and become part of something larger. Then it takes a fully recognizable form
Láctea is an exploration of origin, creation, and the complex relationship with what sustains us. What gives us life also becomes part of the forces that shape who we become.
Ésta serie comenzó con tres preguntas:
¿Qué significa gestar, nutrir y sostener la vida? ¿Puede aquello que da vida convertirse también en una forma de confinamiento? ¿Qué sucede cuando comenzamos a cuestionar aquello de donde proviene la vida?
Las imágenes evocan la inmensidad del cosmos y el misterio de la creación, mientras el cuerpo permanece cercano, íntimo y profundamente humano.
Las fotografías se mueven entre la intimidad y la distancia. El cuerpo aparece parcialmente oculto, haciendo difícil identificarlo o situarlo, permitiendo que la figura exista más allá de una persona específica y forme parte de algo más grande. Para al final tomar una forma compltamente evidente.
Láctea es una exploración del origen, la creación y la compleja relación con aquello que nos sostiene. Aquello que nos da vida también se convierte en parte de las fuerzas que moldean quiénes llegamos a ser.
